This season featured five young participants, four boys and one girl. The oldest was six, and the youngest was three and a half. After Tu Shi finished speaking, the fathers encouraged their kids. They had watched the previous seasons and knew that the first challenge involved selecting their accommodations. It all came down to luck.

“Are we really staying there?” Zhang Xin spun around twice, her eyes sparkling with excitement but also a hint of uncertainty.

“Of course, it’s real,” Zhang Yun replied confidently. He had researched the Great Tang Resort beforehand and knew it had unique accommodations like the Blue Sea Treehouse and Bianjing Inn. Luck was on their side as they managed to draw the treehouse.

“Is this a snow house? It’s amazing.”

“My place is a big house, as big as a castle…”

Shortly after, two more boys drew their cards, revealing Snow village Snowhouse and Bianjing Ancient City. Both were satisfied with their chosen accommodations.

Now, the remaining fruits were apples and bananas. Zheng Lele and Zhou Kaikai were the only ones left to pick.

“I want bananas,” said Zhou Kaikai, the youngest participant, who quickly made his choice after scanning the options.

This left only the apple. Compared to cherries and pineapples, the apple seemed the most ordinary and least popular.

Zheng Lele also didn’t like apples. Feeling down, he handed over the card and squatted to play with the sand.

“Ice Snow Castle… We’re very fortunate!” Zheng Haitao said with some relief as he handed a bottle of yogurt to Zheng Lele before opening the card.

The card showed a serene and quiet snowy mountain, atop which stood a castle. This was the Ice Snow Castle of Snow village. When Zheng Lele heard Zheng Haitao’s surprised exclamation, he curiously got up.

“Son, you did great!” Zheng Haitao ruffled Zheng Lele’s hair, full of encouragement. Taking the card, Lele was equally pleased with his luck, just like his father.

Amid the joy of getting the Ice Snow Castle, getting an apple didn’t seem so bad anymore…

“No, I don’t want to stay in a tent!”

As Lele carefully folded the card, a loud, angry cry came from ahead.

Everyone looked up.

Up front, Zhou Kaikai was dramatically clinging to Zhou Xingqian, crying and throwing a tantrum. Zhou Kaikai had drawn a card with a tent on it. Unlike the vibrant pictures on the other cards, his card showed only a tent with the words “Sky Forest.”

“We’re in Sky Forest, a tent in the sky. Be good!” Zhou Xingqian said, feeling a headache from Kaikai’s fussing.

Kaikai was stubborn. He spent even less time with his child than Zheng Haitao did and had no idea how to deal with this situation… It wasn’t unusual for the kids to throw tantrums on the show, but Kaikai was particularly difficult. “Okay.” After confirming Lele’s intention, Kaikai quickly stood up and handed over the banana and card. Lele made the exchange.
